JTStand is a free scripting environment for data collection, an open source software, written in Java.
It helps you to develop and execute Sequences and to store and analyze the Results.

JTStand was developed first, because the available alternatives were found to be too expensive and too difficult to use for simple applications.

JTStand was later completely rewritten, when JTStand's unique new features were integrated: Revision Control, Selection of Scripting Languages, Support of multiple theads, Database.
